US President Donald Trump has urged Ukraine to choose new leadership, saying Volodymyr Zelenskyy should negotiate a deal with Russia to end the war.
Trump also pointed the finger at Zelenskyy for increases in diesel prices in the United States, warning Kyiv to stop striking Russian oil refineries he says are set to provide American fuel.
The statements came on 10 October 2026, the same day Britain's Prime Minister conducted a separate call with Zelenskyy, according to the UK government.
