💎 Why Silk Sarees Are Special

  • Made from natural silk, giving a luxurious sheen.
  • Handloom varieties involve months of craftsmanship.
  • Traditional motifs often have cultural or spiritual meanings.
  • Ideal for weddings, festivals, and heirloom collections.

🛍️ How to Identify Good-Quality Silk

  • Burn Test (done only by experts): Pure silk burns like hair and smells the same.
  • Weave & Texture: Pure silk feels smooth but firm, not slippery like synthetic silk.
  • Zari Check: Real zari contains silver and gold plating; fake zari is dull.
  • Price: Pure silk is never very cheap—low price often means blended fabric.

🧼 Care Instructions

  • Always dry clean.
  • Store in a muslin cloth to allow the fabric to breathe.
  • Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Refold every 3–6 months to avoid permanent creases.
